Are the TT Bantam patchbays any different from standard 1/4" jacks as far as fit? I mean, if I buy a TT Bantam patchbay, will I also need to buy all new Bantam patch cables too? Or are they interchangeable?

What is different about them? Just a tighter fit?

Thanks, RD

Yes, you'll need to buy all new patch cables. TT jacks are considerably smaller than 1/4".

Like people above have said, they are a completely different type of cable. Generally TT cables are also a little more expensive as well as the patchbay itself. One of the big advantages though is that you can fit 96 TT pacth points in a one rack space frame where with 1/4" you can only get 48. The smaller TT cables also help to reduce clutter and in the long run seem to last longer as well.
