about my mixer...

if i use a mixer(say...on drums) and run main line out to create one track on my pc...
will i still be able to pan certain channels with the mixer. will it come out that way on my pc?

No. If you have collapsed everything to one mono track, then panning in the mixer won't do squat. Now if you mix it to a stereo pair, you can pan your sub mix and the stereo pair will reflect it.
