Ableton Live showing black or white video screen

I'm desperate.

Many people have experienced no video showing in Ableton Live.
Video simply show black or white screen, but audio plays, sometimes it crashes.
And it used to work..

tried everything described in here:

I uninstalled, reinstalled, same with all video drivers, all is up to date, switching between integrated graphics & nvidia processor (this did the trick like a year ago if not longer but no longer works), etc

any ideas, please?

running win10 x64, Ableton Live 10.1.0

update:

i installed a second Ableton Live (version 9.7.7 , 32bit) and here the video works!!

How can i fix it so it works in Live 10.1.0 ? Working with two versions is very confusing.

Firstly, I hope this is not necroposting.
Secondly, I had the same issue for a long time and eventually developed a simple M4L as a workaround to this problem. Should you still be facing the same issue, let me know, it would be great to have you beta testing the device
