Ableton Live 11 no longer recognizing my external hard drive

Hi people, Ableton LIve 11 Standard has decided to stop recognizig my external hard drive. All my sample libraries for my VST Synths are on it. All my samples are on it. The drive is working just fine. Ableto just stopped reading it.

Windows 10 user.

You must have some how changed the drive letter. Go back to your VST directory setting and remap it to the current drive letter/path.

thank you, but not really even sure I know wha you're talking about. I was using an external drive that Ableton recignized but now it doesn't.

Before this happened, had you unplugged the external drive and plugged it back in later?

I remember back in the 90's we had some IBM computers, the desktop types that were modular. We would sometimes have to pull them out and tap them to get them to start spinning again. Not a SLAP!, budget a tap A slap that is a tap, on your lap.
