Aardvark Windows 2000/XP driver update

Just for reference folks, Aardvark has finally fixed the issue with Windows Media Player and MP3s for their 2000 drivers. Go to their driver page to download the maintenance release.

I'm finally able to listen to music without getting frustrated.

Sheesh, you think Aardvark finally got it's shit together regarding drivers? We waited years for a 2000 driver. Now suddenly the 2000/XP driver, the 96 khz driver and now this one come out all within a couple months of each other.

yeah maybe somebody over there finally logged onto the internet and discovered the 10,007 posts complaining about their drivers. I sold off my aardvark gear a long time ago because of the 2k/XP driver issues.

Update is a step backwards (for me)

I'm glad I still had the release 6 drivers buried in the bowels of my puter.

While I could play cds and mp3s with version seven (yipee), it made my Native Instruments Battery and B4 unusable.

Which I don't mind saying... kind of defeats the purpose.

And of course the boys at Aark are so confident in their new drivers that they don't even have a link to previous driver versions......

I like those guys too, but anyway.
