"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
I've had the Q10 installed on my system for a while and I haven't had any issues with it until today. All of a sudden, it's making these weird noises when I play anything back (even just .wav files through WMP). It sounds almost like what a scratched CD sounds like. Is that called drop out? Anyway, it never did this before, but now it is and I'm not sure why. I made a couple changes to my system recently: installed a wireless card (PCI), uninstalled my Delta drivers, and upgraded my installation of Reaper. When I installed the wireless card (and took out the 1010LT because I needed the space), Windows started telling me it found a "Multimedia Audio Controller", so I thought that something got messed up with the Q10. I played something back in Reaper and it worked fine, so I didn't mess with it until today. I reinstalled the Q10 drivers because I was still getting the pop-up about the controller, but even after reinstalling I still got the pop-up, so... I dunno, I just told it to shut up about the controller, but now I'm getting the glitches during playback. I tried changing the latency settings by turning off turbo mode, but it still does it (and it never did before with turbo on). Any ideas?
