I've installed the new XP driver, but my onboard effects still don't work all the time...and i'm aware that they shouldn't work at 96kHz. They don't work when they should. It's all by chance if it chooses to work or not. When they don't work, the reverb knob acts as an inverse volume control. As reverb goes up, volume goes down. Also, there are increasing crackles as i put the compression ratio up.

Anyone else have these problems. I talked to Aardvark during the pre-release stage and told me that this issue is a driver problem, but the new drivers didn't take care of it. The retailer who I purchased it from would have taken my card back if it was a hardware problem, but Aardvark told me it would be solved with the final release. Problem's still there.

Hardware problem?
Driver problem?
My problem?

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I just installed the XP drivers too, but haven't had time to mess with it much...tonight, I'm hoping. What little time I could spend with it, it seemed to behave pretty well. However, today at work I did print off a bunch of settings pages from their web site as to how to optimize the so-called AWDM drivers. You've probably seen these, but if not, you might check it out for a possible solution.

I've been encouraged with initial responses/posts to the new drivers and I'm hoping for good things.

Good luck to us all.
