Just thought I'd let people know who have been waiting patiently for this card, the release date has been moved to September 1 (1999 I hope). I got this information directly from Aardvark--they respond surprisingly quick for email inquiries.
In the information sent with the email, they said the d-pro will record at 96 kHz. This is different from previous information so maybe they are trying to get it perfect before they release it, which I appreciate. Also indicated was packaging it with editing software; there was no mention of SE type software so maybe we could get a full version of something. List price is $645, so we should get it under $600 at least. I hope it's worth it, I've already waited past two due dates!
