Yep, never used, in the box with manuals... the card itself has never been out of the static bag.
This is the one with 4 built in mic pre's and headphone jack.
I paid $550 for it about 2 months ago. Decided right after I bought it that what I really want is not another soundcard. I already have one Aardvark installed, and its really nice, works well, sounds good. Built in DSP effects too.
Make me an offer. You pay shipping.

Wow, no one's made an offer?

I'll give you $5 for it. :D

But seriously, I don't know how low you would want to go. I'd hate to have bought something (never use it) and then turn around and sell it for less than what I paid for it. And I just don't think that I can go up to (or even come close to) $550 :( I guess I'm going to have to stick with the Delta.

But that sure looks like a sweet card though, (I'm heading off to buy my lottery tickets, I'll let you know how things turn out :D).

hmm...

If you're serious, we may go $350. Any other offers? I'll check back here tuesday morning.

WOW, Good Deal!!!!

I wasn't sure you'd be willing to go that low. Now, I'm definitly interested, (and got a little bit of cash saved up, but not enough) so I'm trying to beg/borrow the money so I'll get back to you with my max bid after I get this all worked out. I probably won't be able to go over $450-500 (somewhere in that range) so if someone out there has the intention of going this high or higher, speak now (so it'll save me the time from haggling and trying to get the money). ;)

BTW, no go on the lottery ticket. :( :D

I was serious about the price Tube, but I have found the
LX6 for 299.00. If I can get it to work it will serve my purposes.
Didnt really need the mic pres which is why I am opting for
the LX6.

If I cant get this LX6 to work, I dont think I will find another
right now at that price right away I would be interested again
in the Direct Pro...BUT I will give Tekker the first shot at it
since he opened the bidding :)

Thanx elbenj!!

If $350 works for you tubedude, it sure sounds good to me. :)

I was wondering where (and when) you bought it from and why you didn't just send/take it back if it's never been out of the static bag, so you could get all of your money back? Was it one of those online sites with a NO RETURN pollicy (don't you just hate those)? Also, does it still have a warranty (if so how long)?

Also this is my first "buying online" exerience and I'm a little nervous about it and was wondering what the procedure is for buying online "one-on-one" and making sure that both of us get what we're after.

This dude at work has been offering $420 for it, but he won't have it til we get our bonus the 2nd week of July.
The reason I didn't take it back was I was gonna use it for a total of 8 inputs, but I never got around to needing it becausemy new DAW still isn't finished, and might not be for a few months, and I already had it about 6 weeks when I realized it was a stupid buy considering the circumstances. (I have a $6,700 balloon payment on some property I bought 4 years ago, and its due on Oct. 15th, and I'm sweating the living hell out of it.) My DAW would be done months ago, but I suddenly realised how fast this payment had crept up and how short time was to get it paid off. I have a slammin motherboard sitting in the box, too. Its the one with the AMD 760 chipset and uses DDR. (DDR is only $59 for 256 mb right now!!!!)
I built another DAW exactly like the one I'm building, for someone else, and used it/broke it in, for about 3 weeks. Very very nice. Can't wait.
Anyway, if I decide to sell it right away, I'll swing it your way. I may hold out on the dude at work for $420. (this dude looks dead up like Kurt Cobain with black hair on his best heroin trip ever.) I just kinda really need to get it out of under me before it loses value and I lose my ass even worse.
And about the online dealing thing. I have NO idea how to pull that off. You're probably afraid to send money, I'm afraid to send the equipment without money... iffy stuff... come up with a solution and we might make it happen. Too bad I can't take credit cards or something. I dunno... I won't rip you off, but then, I guess anyone would say that just before they ripped you off. Any ideas?

Oh, the warranty... card is still in the box, never sent in... you would be the original owner I guess, as far as they are concerned.

I would definitly appreciate it if you did. :) But what will the guy at work say? ;)

If I had to beat $420 that would kinda be going into the "iffy" catigory for me. I have a litle over $250 saved up and I'm having to borrow the rest of it (and I don't want to be in dept for ever). Just to illiterate on that, I'm just out of high school (well actually I've been out for a year) and I don't have a "real" job yet, (I have a paper route, hehe) which has provided me with enough to pay for car insurance and gas and have enough left over replace broken drumsticks, guitar strings/pics, ect... and ocasionally save up for something pretty spendy (like a new soundcard) ;) so there hasn't really been any big hurry for me to get off my duff and go look for a "real" job (and this site is just so adictive) :D. So as you can imagine, paying off even $100 on that salary takes quite a while (yeah I know, " then go get a real job"). I do plan on getting one for the summer (to go to a community college here in Sept.), so hopefully that will be happening soon (hopefully).

I do have an idea, one of my friends (the one I'm doing the keyboard recording thing for, if you saw that thread) just gave me the number of someone at my church who does online buying all the time, I tried to call him earlier but the line was busy (probably online or something) and it was getting late so I figured I'd just call him tomorrow sometime. So I'll see what ideas he can offer and I'll get back to you.

I dunno... I won't rip you off, but then, I guess anyone would say that just before they ripped you off.

LOL (yeah, I had my fingers crossed....:D)

I'll tell you what... $400 and its yours, but it doesn't leave here until I have some form of money. What about a certified check? I think those might, well, I dunno how it all works. If you wanted to, and you trust me, you can send a regular check, and I'll send you it out (you pay shipping!) but thats up to you. I can give you my phone number and you can call 1st if that'll help ease your mind any, plus you'll have a better idea where to send your thugs in case you got ripped off. If I were to screw you over, I'd burn in mental torment hell for about a year. Wouldn't be worth $400. :)
This is an honest deal on my end. Besides, I've spent a good deal of time here developing a trusting relationship with our fellow morons. I'd hate to have you ruin it for me... I dig this shit, for some reason.
Let me know, I guess... catch you later...
((((sigh))))

$370 plus shipping, I think that's gonna be as high as I can go. Is that ok?

I got a loan from my personal bank (my sister) for $100 (she was only gonna go $75 but I weaseled it out of her, hey it's for a good cause) :) and she was being a little stingier than usual on her money, because she's gonna be going to Disney Land with some friends in about a week. I have $255 and my mom is lending me $15 (to get me up to the 370) plus whatever the shipping is ($7-9?). I can't ask my dad for money because he's been on my case to get a "real" job for a while and if I asked him for money I would probably not be in any state to actually be able to enjoy my new toy.

Let me know if this works for you.

If you decide this works for you, could you also send the receipt, since I'll probably need the it to send in the warranty card? (unless there's any information on there that you wouldn't want me having, ie credit card numbers, ect....)

<sigh>
I'll tell ya what, and this is it, the finale... $400 and I pay for shipping, and this kills me.
Let me know before I just decide to keep it...

Ok, we're good to go

I worked out a deal with my dad to do some yard work for him for the extra $20.

Also do you think you could send the receipt? And what's the time limit (a month or two) after the perchase for being able to send in the warranty card? You said you've had it for 6 weeks, so would I still be able to send it in?

Well, you can have the reciept if I can find it. I'm bad about stuff like that. As for the warranty card, its in there, but I've never looked at it, so I dunno. I'll try to check it out. The way they pack it, it kinda sucks opening it and then trying to close it up again, but I'll look in the morning.
When do you wanna make the exchange, and how? I was thinking certified check on your end, that way you can track it or whatever, and they demand 2 forms of ID for someone to cash it and all. But, whatever. Kinda sucks to let it go.
Let me know something,
send me an email if you want, and I'll give you my address and phone number.
