a VF160EX-song

Hello!

In December 2004 we desided to record one of our old song with my other band called DIS. That song was in our very first demo ever witch was recorded about seven years ago and it was nice to record it again.Very nostalgic...heh :) I think it´s quite funny song.And the recording proses was good for me, I always learn a little bit more about this machine.Feel free to give some feedback,it would be nice! Thanx and take care!

P.S. I didn´t use any software with that song,everything were done in VF.I used gate/compressor with kick and toms.

Not bad at all!Great death/trash influences!And a girl...?Wow!She growls better than me! =) Have U guys heard a band called Arch Enemy?They also have a girl singer and its pure murder!Me like...hmmm... :D Thanks for your input,I appreciate!
 
they sound familiar! theres this really good girl screamer in walls of jericho, and also in circle takes the square, good stuff!
 
silence the victim... did you record what's on pure volume with the vf 160ex or did you record it in a studio?

Reijonen: So you recorded everything and mixed it all on the VF160? Sounds good. What mics and such did you use? Did you record the guitars and bass direct or did you mic the guitars?

Hey!

I used The t.bone-mics bought from Thomann. Seven tracks were used for drums; two condenser-mics to create the stereo, one for kick, one for snare, one for hi-hat, one mic were placed center of two toms, one for floor tom. Guitars in this song were recorded direct from my Line6 spider II 212. 15 tracks were used total...that last track is for bass, I forgot to record it... :o

Hey you guys!!!!

One question;when you listened that song of mine,did it distorted? Because I just took a listen of that song I put in mikseri.net and it really DISTORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have that same mix in CD and there´s no distortion of any kind!Actually that song in mikseri.net were taken from that CD...and that makes it weird!!!I´m confused...and wery disappointed if it does:(
If it does distort, I will make a "re-mix"...Thanx!
