Very chaotic.
What do the kids call this kind of metal, so I can avoid it in the future!
Nice recording, though I'm not sure I cared for the sound of his Mesa either....

Well, I call it screamo. Mainly just because of the vocal style. You know, whiny emo singing and really pussy-ass screaming.
This band considers themselves "tech-hardcore" or "mathcore". Both of those titles suggesting chops that I think they are somwhat shy of, but they try.
If they could beef up the vocal side of things and polish their chops they could be in "Dillinger Escape Plan" territory, which is where they want to be.

Hahahaha....I know that for sure. They would just like to be good enough that they are considered to be in the same genre. At least that's the way they pitch it to me.

By the way, I can definitely acknowledge DEP's technical skill, but I think their music is unlistenable crap too.
