Hey guys,

This is the infamous duet. After a lot of editing, it sounds pretty nice to me, but I'd love to get some feedback on the tune.
It is a cover of a Debbie Friedman (Jewish-American singer) song, which I had to record due to reasons which are no longer relevant, nor interesting :). I am aware that these happy kids' folk songs aren't everyone's cup of tea, so if too much happiness pisses you off, skip this one :)

Thanks,

Oren

(Song is "And The Youth Shall See Visions")

unfortunately, the vocals need the most work, by getting them together a little better, and when the voices switch off, back and forth, make the seque a little smoother....and a little intonation problem at times. This is a *vocal up* mix, for sure, but maybe a tad so too much. Remember enuciation(sp?) too. with these fixes, imo, you've got something great...
good job

I've never heard this song before so I can't compare it to the original, but I thought it was really good! I love 'happy' songs too; nothing wrong with music that makes you feel good. I love piano, and wanted to hear more of it. Turn it up :). The vocals may need a bit of eq as they seemed a little distorted. The harmonies in the vocals were very nice. Nice tune!

p.s. I appreciate your comments on the song I posted. Thanks for the listen :)!

Thanks for the feedback guys!
The main problem with enunciation, is trying to get to native Israelis to sing in an American accent. :) One of them actually sound *Irish* at times, but not in a good way ;)

Langleyt - I appreciate your comment about the piano, it is the only part I played myself :)

Hi there, people. I'm Tamir, the bass player who played bass in that song for Aren.
I was wondering what you guys think of the bass in that recording. i haven't seen any comment about it yet... :|

anyway, if you want to you can check out some of my other stuff at www.mp3.com/capulet or www.mp3.com/TamirE

have fun :)

I like songs like that. It sounds a little like some of the stuff that Peter, Paul, and Mary used to do. Very nice tune.

P.S. Yes I also liked the Bass Playing.
