Very nice arrangement, esp in the chorus. What is the teapot sound at 1:09? The mix and balance is good on my 'phones...

Very nice mix Tim. All the parts share the space evenly and it allows the listener to enjoy the intricacies without straining.

That "Merry Little Christmas " riff in the first part is super - just caught my ear as really sweet. The entire piece is one of outstanding playing actually....

What is the second part - is it part of the original that I am not familiar with?
I think I know oneverse and chorus from most Christmas songs, that's about it. :D

There is a nice room sound on this mix - very vibrant. Is that straight room or is there added effects?

Which guitars and mics are you using for this recording?

Tim...sounds bery nice. Great playing as always, and the sound of the guitars is very nice...well balanced, and crisp. Sounds like I am there.

Very nice. Great playing. My only nit would be the airy hiss that comes and goes here and there. Its like I can hear you breathing or something. but overall its fantastic. This will be playing ta my house on Christmas eve. :)

Really nice feel in the playing of the piece. Balance feels right to me. Great arrangement. Do I hear a Christmas CD in the works? :D

As always, beautiful Tim. Not much else to say about the performance or sound.

On a personal note, I'd love to hear this sounding like you're sitting around the tree as opposed to sitting in a cathedral, but it's still very intimate.

Awesome.
 
Wow! Amazing playing and a great atmosphere and just the right reverb to highlight everything as well. Thanks a lot for sharing this outstanding performance.

I'll be back later with more detailed responses, but I've only got a minute or so of battery life before the laptop dies. Power's been out here for a day and a half.

BTW, this tune kind of developed out of the Pay it Forward thread if you haven't seen that yet.

This is simply beautiful. :) Multiple guitars sound really nice. And the melody is played very very smoothly and nicely. It keeps the vocal continuity superbly
recreated.

The arpeggio guitar in the background occasionally hitting a somewhat emotional note is very nice.

Edit: Forgot the mandatory smiley. :)

Wow. Sweet sounds and beautifully recorded. I've never head this before - I assume from the other comments it's an old standard. Listening to it, I'm transported to another place..fabulous job man, well done
