Weather is finally turning summer like here in Michigan, inspired me to record this piece of cheese....song actually cam from a bass and drum riff I did, trying to get a decent bass sound from my pod HD500...I feel like I'm subconsciously plagiarizing something with the main guitar part but can't put my finger on it..:laughings::o:rolleyes:

Mix is good. The tune has a kind of early 80s vibe, sorta van Halenish, David Lee Roth era

Yeah, the main riff does sound reminiscent of a lot of '80's stuff, but not really identical to anything specific I don't think.

Mix sounds good. The drums and bass are locked in together pretty nicely.

Definitely more specifically dated sounding than your other stuff. I'm thinking more Van Hagar?

Nice hard rocking tune, Queep!
Yeah, sounds abit 80's but what the hell, it's still damn great guitar playing. And it sounds like you were having a lot of fun doing it. Mix sounds perfect to me.

I really like this one. A little repititious, but really a great mood piece. I can feel the summer in it. Reminds me of Steve Miller's Texas Surf from the late 60's....with updated electronics. Very sweet guitfiddlin'....melodic, authoratative. Nice groove.

2:25 ...the minor 3rd in the solo: my ear was hearing the A as a major chord for the first two cycles. Hit me funny....but I'm getting used to it...and I kinda like the shock. You planned that ?? Nice effect, once I hear the tune more than twice!

It's some like some Satriani-ish stuff. Not a huge fan of the song, but it sounds real good. I like your quirky original stuff better. Nice playing though. Mix sounds pretty good. I could use more kick, but I'm always saying that. Pretty dang good overall.

definitely satriani-ish and defintitey a good groove.

You're working on your bass tone and I think it's a little top-heavy. I'd like to hear it thumpin a little more. But, this might be the tone you're looking for, hard to tell from a casual listen.

Thanks for sharing.

Sounds fantastic Queepy. Mixed really well. The whole thing needs more bottom end. Bass needs more low end meat and more kick as mentioned earlier.
