When I had Vegas Pro 1.0 and subsequently Vegas Audio 2.0 installed on my old computer (PII 400mhz 128RAM) everything visually looked fine.
But, when I installed these programs on my new computer (PIII 833mhz 256RAM) all of my buttons don't show on the screen properly.
For example, my play, pause, and other buttons show up as distorted blue and white squares.
I can't for the life of me understand why this happens.???
I've tried removing all of my sound programs and reinstallng them, but to no avail, my buttons keep looking distorted.
The distorted squares still function as the buttons they are supposed to represent, but it still bothers me that they don't look like play button, pause button, etc.
If anyone can help please respond at your earliest possible convience.

Thank you very much

This Tends to happen quite a lot with Music programs and the way that fixes it for me & fruity loops is to turn down
the graphics acceleration.

Right click on desktop and choose properties/settings/advanced and then choose the performance tab. Slide the acceleration down a few notches maybe even one notch may do it?

Then restart your computer and hey presto!

I know this is a pain if you use the computer to play games as well as a music making machine. But windows will run just the same. You`ll have to change it back if you wish to use graphics acceleration in games as the games will think there is no acceleration on your card otherwise!

Hope this helps

Octaver, Octaver, Octaver.....

Thank you, thank you very much.

It worked perfectly, but I had to turn down the acceleration twice.

I was very frustrated because i couldn't see my

pause
stop
goto start
goto end
skip backward
skip foward
mono/stereo output
insert assignable fx

buttons.

Again, thanks...
