From the few reviews I have read, the pre amp (just one!) is noisy and has low gain, 44 dB is mentioned. Output is on RCA only and the volume is locked to the headphone level.

No MIDI of course!

Noobs beware! This might look attractive at sub $100 but it will be a source of endless frustration IMHO. The iO2 is a better bet if you are that strapped.
