Very nice tune. Keeps interesting all the way. It gets really really good at 2.30.. very nice weird lead there.. The outro is cool as hell.

My only beef is the ride.. it's too nice for the song IMO..

Great song.
 
I totally agree about the ride.. that should have been more of a crash ride, or riding the crash.. thanks for the ears!
 
man i like the song but to me the intro doesnt seem to fit ..?...u do this kinda thing alot where it totally changes feels...but to me this one seemed like an after(fore) thought...?..when it kicks in faster yeah that part........sweet!.
see and right after that fast part where it changes again...i like that one..you know those weird ass dissonant guitar wail feedback sounds you get ...how do you get those?...is that a pedal??..like at(1:21).???

ending...nice...unexpected and perfect.

HH? crash quieter than the HH? vocals out of tune in spots? no accordian? low vocal volume sometimes? no bass gtr? what?? Low string not tuned to E? what??

your gtr is sounding fuzzier these days it seems, but very nice indeed.

oh ...I know the answer... drug induced outro!!!

I agree with what Jamal Bucket said about changes. Although the theme changes quite a bit, but, I like it tho. I like songs that's not "too" consistent as long as it follows the vibe/story-line.
The ending is very very cool, I really love it,wish it will go on and start another theme. You really should try that!

btw, have you done any tunes where vocals don't have heavy effects applied? I like your voice the way it is right now, but would love to hear it unplugged, too :)

actually, didn't you say once before that there are no effects. and maybe your just using some cheap ass peavey mic or something. anyway...always sounds cool. kinda the sabb/mp3 clinic signature vocal sound;)

The phase shift on the guits sounds cool.

I like the change at around 3:10 too.

Is that your old vocal processor youre using again........... ......Im hearing those damn mids again:D

vocals out of tune was the #1 answer.. the second I layed the vocals, I mixed it and threw it out there.. Why? I don't know.. I wasn't always like this! :D thanks for the word mix! I thought the offness was almost a good thing, but can anything 'off' really be a good thing? :confused:




jamal- I am using a pedal, but it's doesn't give me the squeals.. they just come from bending the harmonic.. it's easy to hit them if you use a lot of distortion.. the whammy pedal is a BOSS PS-5.. I was tuned to drop C#.. yeah, the parts really are dis-jointed/mood swingish/prozac/caffeine.. thanks for checking it out..





A1A2 - I dont have any songs with good vocal sound.. hopefully one day I'll figure out how to get something more real.. thanks for cheking it out man!

Nice Sam,I really dig the intro,especially the wah guitar,cool effect.

That's a wild rythym guitar sound you have going there.
Man,everything is HUGE,sounds great!

The breaks are masterfully performed,as usual!;)
The ending was kind of abrupt though,I was ready fior more!:D

Vox sounds good to me,fits the song well.

Great mix,are you going to work it some more?

definitely has your sound stamp on it.........the vocals sound a tad distant.....i'm not exactly sure what i mean by that as the levels seem fine, but that's the best i can explain it..........very well mixed........sounds good..........you get a very wide pallette of sounds here which is cool........
 
Well I like it Sam....especially the intro......well, I don't care for the fast part at around 2:40 or so......but otherwise I like it. I don't think the mix is as clear as your recent ones have been....oooo; I like the abrupt ending......anyway, I think the mix is a little muddy sounding. But the song's basically pretty cool

great guitar sound as always. the vocals could be better and the drum machine sounded like a machine. that probably what it is, but it could be programmed better.
