Hey but cheer up....At least our president isn't getting blow jobs from interns.

Let's not get into politics here. This is the take pity on poor old 64Firebird thread. :(

Dude, that sucks!

That's like putting a family member on the block. I hope you can find another way to pay the bills.

Maybe I could, but it's just too close for comfort. Selling it gives me a little extra to float on for a while. It's just a hunk of wood after all.

You can't get wood like that anymore......

You know, you're absolute right. I thinkYOU should buy it. You sound like someone that will love and care for it the way I have for the last 12 years. Whatta ya say?

I feel your pain.

That must sting. I bet you need a band-aid the size of your heart....

freak

I'll live. I've had the thought of selling it in the back of my mind for a long time. I was prepared. LIke I siad, it's just a hunk of wood. I can love form now till doomsday and it will never love me back.

Well said. After all, it is just wood. arranged in such a manner that it creates sound. but in that creation there is an art that is hard to replicate. But, i guess its that art your paying for and not the wood.

freak

BTW something like that isnt ever going to come from me again.

Nah...Its just a hunk of wood
Lets try to be supportive here people...

Man that's sad, if there's any way you can hang on to it you ought to. Whenever I need to induce vomiting I just think about guitars I've sold or had stolen.

That fretboard inlay looks like factory to me. Most likely their banjo guy did it. It's a step above the RB250 Mastertone banjo and similar to what they sell as the Granada today.

It's not the guitar that is special, it's the player. I refuse to be saddened by this loss, I can sound good playing any guitar (and I still have 5 others). Yes, it is a beautiful guitar that sounds great, but it is after all just a guitar. I will NOT regret selling it!

I think I'm going to cry now.:(
