i know it's kinda boring to see 485937 similar post around :o

im a newbie with recording. i mean im new at recording with hardware, 4-5 experienced wiith mixing and stuff so my problem is only to put the sound into my computer.

i'll use the hardware im planning to buy for my demos that arent too damn serious. in fact i want to work on something experienmental with my voice. so im not planning to spend much money. only gonna record vocals...

im planning to purchase a sp b1 mic.
what u can recommend for a pre amp (around $100) and a sound card (aint expensive)

Yep the Fasttrack would suit your needs and is really cheap at $99. Since it's USB, you wouldn't even need a soundcard. :)

Markaholic, out of curiousity, do you really use Sonar 4, Nuendo 2, and Sound Forge 8? Wouldn't just one of those do you well? And wasn't that expensive?!

sonar 4 came with my laptop that i bought off a friend...and nuendo and SF 8 is on my main rig...and yes...between both rigs...it was quite expensive! :D
As they say...your never happy with what ya got...gotta have more more more! :p

i heard that i should choose a non-usb preamp  really confused. alsoeven if im not makin music id like to change my soundcard so purchasing one aint a problem actually its a must!

if your only doing 1 track at a time stuff...USB will be fine.
It's when ya plan on doing 4 + tracks simutaneously that it might become a problem.
For what you want to do...it will be more than fine!

thanks for ur recommendations, ill check out them and gonna purchase and write to a review. :)
