The Logic Tape Delay contains a Tape emulator inside it.

To enable, set your Tape Delay up like this:

The Dry/Wet will affect the overall tone of what you're changing.
The Tape saturation is the threshold for the Distortion.

This is Before it's enabled:
LYM Without Tape Delay.mp3 - File Shared from Box - Free Online File Storage

This is After it's enabled:
Leave Your Message A.mp3 - File Shared from Box - Free Online File Storage

Highlighted tracks have the Tape Delay enabled to create the Saturation/Warm effect.

Obviously what you prefer is your opinion, but I prefer the latter :P

Paddy,

Thanks for the tip bud. I'll have to try this next time in Logic. Like the warmth for sure.

That makes a huge difference!
Where did you put that in the mix?
Did you use that on the stereo out channel strip?

Just try it different ways and use your ears to see what's best.
I usually always have it on drums and bass now.

It's just totally added a bit of warmth to one of my tracks.
Awesome tip.
Keep em coming!!
