I've heard the debate back and forth on which Lynx card offered better quality, the L22, or Lynx Two, so I contacted Lynx myself, and here is what they had to say.

"Easiest question I have had all day.

The audio section of the LynxTWO and L22 is identical - same specs, same converters, same audio quality. The L22 is simply a 2 channel I/O version of the LynxTWO without the SMPTE implementation.

Thank you

who told you otherwise? its stated all over the site thats what it is

I have seen posts where people clamined the L22 was better, and talked to people online, who asked for audio help, who said they heard better results with the L22

really? I moved from the L22 to the Lynx2- C(i think thats the config) can't say I noticed a loss in quality but then again when I externally clocked it to the lucid I couldn't really tell the difference either...so IF it is of higher quality its extremely slight. The AES-16 however does have a better clock then the Lynxtwo's maybe they were clocking there L22 to it? either way lynx kicks any other sound cards ass!
