A little help needed

Ok, I use the Behringer V-AMP 2 to record guitar with. It sounds amazing, but for some reason the sound is too "there." I dont know if you under stand what I mean, so heres a sample of one of my bands songs with a drum Loop. Is it because theres no bass recorded? Thanks. Kinda sounds like the channels are too wide.

yeah, a bassline will help, and so will EQ and a better mix with the drums.

Roll off some high frequencies, and try one of those new fandangled 'warmth' plugins like the one from antares or PSP
