Huge Floyd fan here...

but as B Sabbath said, the link is no good.

Quite different from Floyd's, for a start. I liked it.

For what I can hear in my crappy speakers, the drums are a tad low, and have a strange groove to them, kinda jazzy.

Great soloing in the 2nd. solo, I dug it a lot!

Overall, and to my TASTE, the guitars are a bit too overdriven and high on volume. But I guess that's what you tried to do.

I couldn't hear the bass, but again I'm at work and that is a big trouble (extremely bad speakers)

Yeah we are kinda going for that live version sound, so thats why it doesnt sound like the album, the drums are a little weak and I dont like how the kick sounds, but I did this mix in an hr so its not even close to being done. Thanks for the guitar solo comment I tend to go a little crazy as you can tell! but yeah they are a tad loud! thankx for the comments keep em coming!

it does have that "lo-fi" live recorded sound to it. Actually sounded pretty good for a cover, but I think the recording quality covers up a lot of the "distinction" between the instruments.

it sounds like the the micing of the instruments is not isolated per instrument very much, like there is bleed from everywhere. I`m hearing loads of room sound in the mix. The performance was pretty good, and the live sound aint a bad thing but i`d reccomend getting some more individual presence on the instruments and vox.

So it's OK to post Cover tunes at nowhereradio now if we name them something other than the original name?

Its up on soundclick now! removed from Nowhere
r you the nowhere police or something, there is a handfull of other people posting covers on nowhere, go bother them!

everyone else thankx for the comments, I am working on a new mix, and I will post it later (on soundclick)

I would honestly like to know if their has been a policy change because I would like to post some covers myself on nowhere.

As it still says in the agreement, you'll need to have rights to post other peoples material.

If you've got proof of performance rights, then by all means, go ahead.

Now, as far as some people having covers up, they either have permission to do so, or I haven't caught them yet.

Obviously, I'm only one guy, and 20-80 new songs a day can be hard to keep up with. I'm planning on asking a few people to help out with moderation when NWR4 is released (i.e., a moderator for each genre).

Thanks Waldo,
I didnt think the policy had changed. Not a problem though....I dont do that many covers.:p
