Maybe this should be posted in the newbie section...here goes...
Is there a benefit to having, say, 8 channels of tube preamplification, such as the new Behringer T1950 tube interface? I would like to record live stuff as well as home/project stuff, and was thinking that something like the Magician would be good for tube pre on all channels. Is this something that could be achieved through a 2 ch. tube pre? I will be recording to something like the fostex vf08 for now, but eventually would like to upgrade to adat. Any suggestions?
