Ok, they great for spreading things out and ear candy and such, but I've been gererally turned off with having guitars or whatever, swirling around with no 'beef' left in the track...
But lately, I started messing around with a simple patch that has each side modulating up and down a bit (0/+ a few cents- L, 0/- R), got rid of all the 'extra' delay in the two voices, and rolled the highs off down to about 2-3k so you don't hear the 'wooshing', and made a nice 'phasor' for a marginal bass track that needed help. And lo-and-behold, it sounds nice as a 'not too obvious' vocal candy.
I think I comming around. :) (too bad it's not the 'eighties' anymore)
