Cubase SX and Nuendo are exactly the same program with regards to audio production.

Nuendo has other functions that are only of use to people who do movie and video post production. If you are just making CDs, Nuendo is a waste of money. That extra $1500 would be better spent on monitors, microphones, and an interface.

If you get a legit copy, we will help you all day long.

There is a student price that is really, really cheap. Look into that.

im not at music college anymore im afraid. i did music technology at sixth form, for my a levels. i am now at university doing something different.

i am taking your advice and asking my dads mate, but thanks anyway.

i hope all you guys have fun with your recording stuff.

hmmm, afterall, it must be used for something other than flashing pictures of it at each other.

im sure of it.

That'll probably cost you Sam.

It's very simple. Software piracy is not tolerated by most of us.

There are free apps, and apps that cost very little.

Take your tantrum elsewhere.

im sorry. il leave it at this...

i just fail to understand why you have such a huge problem with it. piracy happens in every walk of life, and worse things happen than piracy. i am not stealing from you personally and do not wish to offend you, or use this software to do so. but anyway, that aside, i end this debate now. i will get on with my life, and take my questions elsewhere.

i shall not post on the cubase forum anymore.

thanks anyways

sam

Dont post on the site...we'll call you when theres a Piracy forum, though i wouldn't hold your breath.

I don't think you have to be enrolled in music studies to get the discount. You just have to be a student.

As someone who sells samples, music and other intellectual property, I am offended. You could easily have pirated copies of my work on your laptop. You never know who you might run into on the internet, you very well could be talking to someone you are stealing from...and asking them for help, no less.

And Sam, you have to have some rep before you can give negative rep. Just go you're making an ass of yourself.

it's reading that sound is coming into cubase? Are you sure your inputs on your channels are correct? You should be using the same input in cubase that the sound is coming into your soundcard from.

when i click the track to change the input, i only have one option (REALteck i think)

i just need help on how to record audio onto cubase firstly.

Get Reaper - it's free to try, and only $40 to keep. You'll get TONS of help.

Very few people here will help you pirate software, sorry. :(

An intelligent thief would have stolen the help files.

Just get lost already.
