A jazzy sax ballad...

Lt. Bob, I am thoroughly impressed, absolutely beautiful playing man. I definitely agree with most of the previous posts suggestions--the synth sound has got to go, though I think if you maybe layered two or three pads/strings on top of eachother 1 or 2 with a lot of chorus/reverb than it could really liven up the track and highlight the room you give the sax for the majority of the songs duration, works for us purely synthetic cats. I also agree that the Rhodes needs a little more space in the mix and just more depth in general. Also agree that the panning of the sax is no good, not bad excecution though, it certainly sounds interesting! Anyways, great tune in general, and I may take you up on that offer, though I don't know if you'd contribute to an electronic/ambient artist, anyways nice work man!!!

Hey Laj, appreciate the feedback. All suggestions will be incorporated in future work for sure. As for electronic/ambient, that's what's cool about this, it'll give me a chance to do the things I'd like to do but don't get a chance to. Lots of times people pigeonhole a sax player as being into only jazz or maybe funk and that's it. personally, I've always been meaning to do Purple Haze on the sax. And it is rare that I hear anything, no matter what, that I don't hear some possibilities for sax in it. I love all music and I'd love to do things that are not considered "sax" music so bring it on! :)
