A friend of mine asked me if I could write something that wasn't so dark. I find Happy lyrics are hard to write. I'm hoping to get some live drums/percussion on it, but all comments suggestions are welcome. Pete

The bass is very deep and full during the verses, and actually doesn't feel right to me for this song (great bass solo though 
). The snare/sidestick/rimshot is buried. Otherwise it's a good mix.

You do have a very full and resonant bass tone when it hits certain notes. It's very boomy. You might wanna find that one note and narrow notch that one frequency so you only tame that one note without killing the whole bass track. The verse vocals can come way up to me. I think the rest sounds pretty good.
