Hello All,

As if I don't have enough equipment as it is.....
I was wondering if you all knew of a decent sampler that is out there.
I basically just want to use it to record some guitar riffs and sequence it with the other gear in my MIDI setup. Maybe be a slave when playing back, but a master when recording/ sending the start and stop data to my drum machine and keyboard so that I keep the timing from the drum machine.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

me too. i am looking for a sampler, but i am looking for something a little different.

i want one with really nice filters, probably analog filters, and maybe a real LFO or two. i dont care so much about memory or anything like that. most of my "sampling" i do by dropping files in cubase. it has been working so far, but i want something with more character, something more fun. 16 bit should be fine. i would even go for 12 in a pinch...

so i imagine that i want some sort of old sampler, maybe early 90's...

Check out....

Ensoniq EPS 16+
-16-bit
-Great Filters and sequencer
-Came in a keyboard and rack version.

Plus you can get them way cheap on eBay

Peace~

thanks, checking it out!

hows portland? i miss the rain myself.

"Lots of cool sounds, but unfortunately it lacks a resonant filter, which makes it hard to produce real analog sounds with it. "

ouch.. i think i would miss a resonant filter.

otherwise looks just like what i want.
