Do any of ya'll have this equipment?

Do ya'll think this would be good for creating beats? Does this include instrument sounds like strings, pianos, etc.?

Yo GenuWINE:

Hey brotha: lay off the WINE and be more succinct. Don't know what you are looking for or what you might find.

Green Hornet:D :D :p :p

I believe Ginuwine was refering to the link to the equipment that was in his post...the Boss SP-505 Groove Sampling Workstation.

I don't have any real experience with that piece of equipment, but thought I would try and clarify it a little for those that may have not clicked on the link.

Hope someone can help you out.

Any thing in the Roland Groovebox line is good for creating beat tracks, but what more, specifically, do you want to do?

Besides creating beats using bass, snares, etc., I want to use instrument sounds like piano, ts-404, strings, those kind of stuff. Does the boss equipment have that?

G, for the SP-505,
http://www.bossus.com/generated_PDF/2711493189.pdf

It has strings, pianos, etc...but it's best known for creating dance music. Also try www.synthzone.com, and click on Roland. U will be able to find websites on the SP-505...some users there can best answer your question.
