To be honest I was that familiar with too much of his work until it said that he worked for Nine Inch Nails. Then my opinion of the man totally changed.

Do Mastering houses do any sort of recording at all?
I can imagine maybe doing a vocal overdub out of sheer necesity but my understanding was you send a 2 track mix to the master and then wait for the call from Billboard
