A Gibson that I actually like

I don't believe that either. I know that's story with SGs, but I have three of them and none of them feel unbalanced to me. They just hang there like they're supposed to. There's no neck diving or anything. But I also play as low as a strap will go. Maybe that somehow counters the imbalance.
 
That's the thing that's kept me from getting an SG all these years. I've wanted one so bad I can't stand it, but I could never even hardly get a good feel for the necks because almost every one I've ever tried had a horrible neck dive. I spent all of the time trying to keep the neck under control, so I figured I have a hard enough time playing as it is, why get a guitar that I have to fight with.
 
I've even thought of getting one, and routing out a small cavity to put a counterbalance in on the other end.

Seems like somebody at Gibson could have come up with that already.
