A few noob questions...

Hey.

Is it i) possible and ii) beneficial to use a mixer with my Tascam 122L? I mainly record vocals and acoustic guitar =]

One more side question - would it be advisable to upgrade my computer. I currently own an Inspiron 1501 laptop which I bought a few years back.
# AMD Sempron 3500+ (1.8GHz/512Kb)
# 512GB DDR2 SDRAM 533MH

(I use Propellerhead Reason (fab software) and Adobe Audition usually in ReWire and I the computer really struggles to run both programs at the same time - often slowing down completely and not playing anything at all)

You'd likely need to buy a relatively expensive mixer to get a better sound than the preamps already in that interface.

The computer will work, you just need to export your Reason tracks and then import them into Audition instead of using ReWire. I used to do that on a G3 iMac. (300 MHz)
