Just lookin for some people to tell me what they think of my band. Try not to judge me too much on the quality of the "music" although i wouldnt mind hearing some feedback on it. And keep in mind these are from before my band had a drummer so we just used a drum machine. Alot of the music changed since these were recorded but we dont have any up-to-date recordings. Tell me what you think of it. The style of the music is punk, so if you dont like punk, you probably wont like it, but still feel free to tell me what you think might be able to improve the songs.

I listened to your samples. You sound like a pretty aggressive/crazy rocker...it's hard to imagine you sitting at a computer posting your recordings on a message board. Are you pissed off when you write songs? What thoughts and ideas go into your music? I think the ideas that people are moved by influence how their music sounds. Though sometimes you're not really inspired by ideas so much as just inspired by your favorite rock star. I am kind of "challenged" when it comes to creating rock but I absolutely love listening to it and playing it. By the way, I read that your new band has a new "edge" to it. What do you think gives it it's edge? To be honest, reitterated power chords for 3 minutes/Absence of dynamics/programmed beats do not shock me. I respect what you do, I could never sing like that, but I think if you relieve the audience every once in a while with some difference in melody or less volume, you can kick them in the ass harder because they won't see it coming...it's like a little 4 year old girl saying "fuck you, ****" -shock. or better yet, I never hear punk music with creative timing technique, it's always superfast 4/4. I think it'd be a crazy ass show if a punk band messed with timing. -P

well....our old band was terrible. Weve done alot more to give these songs more energy and dynamic range since then. I do write alot of songs in time singatures like 3/4 or 7/8 but nothing too crazy. If youd like to hear some bands that i like, i can put up some links so you can see where my inspiration is mostly comin from.

thats a cool idea. imagine some punk tune in odd time with cool harmonic structure, maybe pop punk would work better to offer some semblance of harmony.

Those are nice ....i think i hear them in another post though from you

i kind of liked "destroy everything" Personally i think its boring. Nothing ever really happens. you have a nice sound, and the vocals are great, and some of the melodies are pretty good. but the percussion is boring and it keeps your music from moving. it kind of drags along. I also have a hard time believing that the Bob Hope Conspiracy consists of more than one person.
Again, you got some really good melodies but the songs lack rhythm. a few songs i think you should check out because i think they have absolutely awesome percussion are "Zero Signal" and "Replica" by Fear Factory and "Remorse is for the Dead" by Lamb of God. Also listen to a little metal and some DnB, styles of music that rely heavily on rhythm and percussion. System of a Down have good percussion too, though their melodies are pretty weak.
