Ed,

Your programmed drums sound pretty good.:) The dynamics are a little too constant for this style of music IMO, but the kit levels and placement are right on. The things I don't like are those two crash symbol sounds. They are too thin and fall off too quickly. You've done a good job at creating a natural feel and these two sounds tend to wreck it.

On the minor side, the floor tom roll at 2:39 sounds a bit sucked out in the mix, if you know what I mean. Maybe a slightly higher pitch on those would help?

im about to purchase a j-station but hadnt ever heard anything that used it. but after hearing this im very very much looking forward to buying it.

cool riff
soundslikea young guitarist!
makeme wanna pick the guitar again

Ed, have you tried the piano roll? I know it's a bit of a pain in the ass to program drums in a piano roll, but on the plus side, you can make patterns any length you want, and they just play to the end.

I almost always create drums and synths in Fruity and then export them to Pro Tools, so I'll often make 2 or more fruity "songs" per actual song if there are time changes.

Nice drum sound, doesn't have the "Fruity" sound. I like the guitar sound too, sounds like a decent modeler tone. The bass is pretty pumping too. A little repetitive.

Nice Ed.. I like your FL job very much. looking forward to hear more.

Very good ‘Eddie’. I don’t care what these guys say about you behind your back, you’re still number one in my book. Seriously though, don’t ya just hate it when people start criticizing a piece and telling you, the creator of the piece, how it should be? The piece is how it is, shut up. Nothings outdated and everything goes. No laws, no illegal operations, this is music and freedom is the key. You go guy.

On first listen I thought it sounded a bit gay, but it kinda grows on you. Hmmm, might haveta get me one of them j-station things.
