Can anyone point me to an A/B footswitch, something that you'd use to switch your guitar from one amp to another?

Thanks!

I use a behringer, it works great, has seperate gain controls for each input and is very cheap. Check them out on ebay.

If you are handy with a soldering iron you can build one pretty easily. Try R. G. Keen's web site (have to g**gle) or Jack Orman's. Sorry don't have that link either. You definitley want one that is isolated to eliminate ground loops. 299.00 is a bit steep. If you are in that price area try the Framptone switcher. You can build one for less than 50.00 US. I built one from R.G's website. Works great.

Yep, I can solder, no problem.

I'll have a look at R.G's site, thanks! :)

Since you are good at soldering, here is something you can copy if you want. I call it the ABBA. (yes as a joke after the band)

Its an A/B A/B pedal. I made it so I could have two guitars plugged into two amps. One switch picks the guitar, the other switch picks the amp. It solves a lot of laziness problems. ;) :D

The green, light blue and turquoise are ground wires. The red is for the signal.

Cool, that's just a straight-up, non-buffered switch box. :)

Does it pop when you switch it?

Not that I recall. I quit using for two amps though and started using it between one amp and my tuner.

I remember my Fulltone pedal saying that any true bypass pedal may need to have the button pushed once or twice before use to remove any static that was built up so as to prevent pops, but even then I never heard any with that. Its the same principle.

Are those both three-pole, double-throws?

No, they are DPDT. There is no LED so a 3PDT wasn't needed. I belive those two were made by Carling.

Yeah, the only difference is in the terminal locations. The one you used would be easier to work with at any rate.

That looks like some great construction and quality parts in that box. I need to look up one of those switches for my old Big Muff pedal, I sprayed the switch with Blue shower and the first time I clicked it it went to pieces~
