8725 E-Card Digital Recording Card?

I already own a digital multitracker (fostex fd8). is this (8725 E-Card Digital Recording Card) a good product for integrating the multitracker with my personal computer?

or

If i buy a too expensive soundcard for my PC, would it make my standalone digital multitracker obsolete?

Give it time. I have neither experience with that card nor do I know anyone that uses it. Someones bound to come along with some good input. You might have to wait until tomorrow though.
