8 ins from mixer, to computer

I own a Behringer eurorack 1604A and was wondering how I could mix 8 instruments on that and then bring them out seperatly to my digidesign 001 interface, or is it only possible to bring a left and right channel out of that mixer?
 
I don't believe that model has inserts, but I think it has 4 busses. Thats 4 outs. And if it has 2 effects sends they could be used as 2 more.
 
the only way you could do it is 2 tracks at a time using the alt 3-4 and main mix, i too have a mx1604a i am going to buy the mx2004a because that has 8 inserts which is what you need.
 
anyway if you have digi001 why do you want to go through your mixer first? you can go straight in to the 001 interface and mix in the computer....the only use you have for the mixer is for monitoring(helps with latency) and mixdown (even then you can mixdown in the digital domain), unless the 001 doesn't have mic pre amps does it? then you would have to use your mixer.
 
So, how would you record 8 seperate channels with the 2004? Is it because it has 8 mic preamps?
