hey trebles, know anything about their condesor mic? or the "prism" effects unit? iv'e had a distant eye on this company for about six months and i'm still unsure about them, granted i haven't heard any of the equiptment, but i do like the price range

in relation to their mics hmmm not sure ive seen it but i suspect its another 797 rebadge of some sort id either look at a c1 or and mxl v67 g or m if i were you they seem great mics for the cost also grab yourself some of those behringer omnis ecm8000,s for 35usd other then that if i see this mic around doc i,ll post it for ya m8 )

the mic is in the recording section right down the bottom of the page, its dirt cheap....

i thought s&m must have some affiliation with hoontech (sta), but s&m is an australian company right? i'll email them as soon as i work out what it is i want to ask!!

I've been told that the SMPR8 is not too bad quality, but is noisy. I haven't heard anything else about it.....except it's $500 Aussie

AFAIK they use the same mic pres that come with the st dsp2000. These are real crap, noisy, lot of distortion at "high" gain levels (well, they almost don't have any gain), very "2 dimensional". You get what you pay for...
