8 audio/midi effects.

In my ableton live 8 it only allows me 8 audio/midi effects in one live session. Why? how do I fix this? is there a way around this?

You have the Lite or Intro version..

a way around it is to possibly try a plug in like Chainer

Is the upgrade free? I bought Ableton Live 8 and authorized it on line. It seems sorta cheap if I have to buy more.

I have the Akai Professional APC Edition. I got it with my APC20 I bought

then it is limited...and being free with your APC does make it cheap, it makes it free

the full Ableton Live costs more than the APC does
