All Of Me:
I think "Revolver" is a good tune. Reminds me of "Pennyroyal Tea," or "Something In The Way," by you-know-who, and is equally catchy like those two songs.
I like the way you approached the recording of the vocals. I don't know HOW you approached the recording of the vocals, but I like it, none-the-less.
The guitar parts are good but performed a little rough around the edges. Rough-and-the-edges is a good approach for this type of song and the emotion and lyrical content behind it, but still, it just seems like stronger performances on guitar would make the song much better. If you don't want to do that, though, I would definately tweak the guitar track(s). You could do this without re-recording. Relative to the strong vocal recording and performance, the sound of the guitar is actually quite weak. That's meant in the most positive way it could be meant because, like I said, you could keep the part and work with the production you already have.
The eq on the guitar(s) seems okay to my ears. Maybe you could:
1. cheat: clone the track, or, copy and paste it very slightly off the original. Pan it around in different ways until it comes through better, fuller. With the vocal as strong as it is, I don't think filling up the track (to some degree) with guitar would steal from the vocals.
2. double the guitar: or, triple the guitar, using different voicings on each take so as not to muddy up what you've got. Where you're playing one part in first position, play a second part up the fretboard, boost the original down the center and pan in stereo the second part.
I would have liked to hear an erie cello come in very slightly, way in the back, but that's neither here nor there.
It sounds a little like I'm suggesting you jack the whole thing up into a muddy mess. I am guilty of doing that in my songs. But that is not what I envision in order to fix what I think the song lacks.
I think it is a cool, dark song and it should stay that way. I was just a little disappointed in the "distant" guitar.
Nice work!
