Recently got the classic Rhodes piano, and have been loving it, but was wondering is there any way possible to somehow connect it to the computer and have it be a midi controller? Seems unlikely, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask...

midi retrofit

Yes, it exists. Whether it would be worth it would be highly doubtful. I wouldnt want to do it, the modern controllers all have knobs, sliders and pitch bend wheels to control the softsynths.

I asked the same question when I acquired by late 70's Rhodes Mark 1. The retrofit to MIDI was simply not economical: highly expensive for only minimal MIDI features. I decided my money was better spent on a dedicated MIDI controller with my Rhodes untouched.

The new Rhodes Mark 7 come with midi connections maybe check it out if ur lookinbg at getting some midi capibilities. They say it deserves the name Rhodes.
