hi,
In a few weeks I will start recording an album with my band. I mainly play 7-string(whith emg 81-7) but I will be using a few guitars to get diferent textures(strat, tele, 135, ect).
The thing is, to get a similar sound live I will need single coils on my 7-string, I have found a few, some in warmoth, and on seymour duncans custom shop($250 for a vintage rails, $150 for a clasic stacks).
is there a way that i can conect active pickups with passive pickups?
or better yet, some one nows about an active single coil for 7-string?
