I finally got my new baby. My amp guy finished my Super Reverb Repro. He blueprinted the circuit and installed an NOS JAN Phillips 12AX7 preamp tube in the Vibrato channel and along with the Emi.Legend 105 speakers, the baby sounds sweet. This is the first PTP
Super I've ever really had the opportunity to really play and explore it's tone pontential. Wow,now I know what all the fuss is about. The middle tone control really lets you dial in the balanced tone you want to hear. I probably will take it out to a few gigs, but the thing weighs a ton. I'll still have to stick with my 70'PR as my main gig,but the SR will see alot of action in my studio. Here's a pic of the amp

Get a small sack trolley or handcart or whatever they are called in your neck of the woods, I take a ton of gear when I gig and I'm nearly 62, makes it easy, I'm in the process of building a purpose built trailer just for gear, I folded the deck and sides at work before I came home, I'll do the frame tomorrow, you can never have too much gear at a gig.

4x10...............mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm so jealous of Texas

I recorded bass through a 69 bassman & man I love fenders

Me too Slidey, It's obvious I love Fenders, but this SR is about the sweetest sounding Fender I have. You can really just dial in the SWEET spot tone your looking for. I just wish it wasn't so heavy cause I'd love to take it to gigs, but it's not practical. I can live with it in the studio though.

I feel like commiting robbery every time you post

yeah I keep the vintage tube gear for the studio & use a musicman 112 RD for live work
