And in case anybody is wondering what the hell that thing is on thge back end of the pedal - that's a Vruk Heel Plate.
It allows you to play the pedal with your heel.

Since I play Heel-Toe, it evens out the strikes so that instead of having a "rounded" kind of sound to the rolls, it makes them perfectly even.
Plus, since I wear sizer 14 shoes, it allows me to have some extra length on the pedalboard.
It's a great idea, that actually does work.
