5 Beat Update From Soleternity!!

A Dream Away

Soleternity & Universal (www.mp3.com/beatonwax)

Soul/R&B

Sol: Melody, pianos, bass, electric piano
Uni: Drums, synths, strings, electric guitar, harp+piano combo, arrangement/sequence

A mellow, soulful collab featuring myself and Universal (www.mp3.com/beatonwax). Could be used for some midwest style rapping or an r&b ballad. Just enjoy this one, and be sure to check out the crazy change up towards the end.

Flip The Script

West Coast

This one is not the average Soleternity beat. Definetly has a commercial, rugged appeal. Very emcee friendly.

One Night

Soleternity & Nkredible (www.mp3.com/nkredible)

Soul/R&B

Sol: Melody, piano, electric piano, electric guitar, synths, strings, congos, sequence/arrangement
Nkredible: Drums and Percussive Effects

Whoa, this is some pimped out music haha. Real tight chord progression, smooth bongos with some hot drums.. Soleternity and Nkredible (www.mp3.com/nkredible) combine forces to bring you this one.

Prodigy

East Coast/Underground

This is a chopped east coast style beat, all scratches done by me. Lots of change ups. The hook section has scratching in it, so don't confuse it with the pre-chorus. Emcee-friendly, keeping things diverse.

Coming Up

East Coast/Midwest

No samples in this piece. I wasn't going to post it, but I decided that I would so that emcees and vocalists can have a chance to use it. Contact me if interested in purchase.

Nothing like some Sol tracks for inspiration before heading to the studio.

"A Dream Away" - mellow, RnBish feel to this one. I'm liking the chord progression in the piano line. I'd like the hear the change up but this is taking too long to buffer right now.

"Flip the Script" - the bassline has got a nice funk vibe to it. This has a Bass Brothers feel to it, could hear Eminem on this one.

For some reason "One Night" crashed my Media Player. I'll have to peep the rest later.

Tight work as usual from what I heard.

A Dream Away: Nice work kinda rnb/soulful (not tha sorta thing you'd get me flowing on:D) but it is very "chill out" - I'm likin' tha feel 2 it. Likin' those charge-ups at the end.

Flip The Script: Very tight bassline. Definately very Emcee friendly - not much 2 think about (except for the 1,2,3,4 of course) I really like the guitars you've got on the hook.

One Night: Same sorta feelin' as "A Dream Away" but more relaxing and "tropical-paradise", probably like a betta version of "A Dream Away", though it's a different song.

Prodigy: Very very tight. Should get some good flows (emcee friendly again, as you mentioned) - the scratching is good. And I'm likin' the the guitars again. Very nice.

Coming Up: Well done. I like the intro. It sounds like it can't decide whether it's G-funk or RnB/soul.

Tell me.

Is it possible for you to make a bad beat?:D

VERY GOOD WORK.

What up Sol E?

Might as well do a break bown on each one...

Dream- Very nice programming (as usual). R&B you can flow to if you wanted to. Always a good sign in my book. Nap tight but kinda too dreamy. A little too soft for me... But tight.

Flip- Very west coast. Elements give it more a XZIBIT feel. Definatly on the artist to handle up with some catchy shit. Nice west coast hip hop to a T.

One night- Fitting name... Definatly a late night player cut. Nice screaming/whining synth. Tight drums. What did you sequence this one on??? Drums are definatly on point for this type of beat. Lay out is very nice. Sound choices are perfect. VIP stats on this one. 2003 miami vice shit.

Prodigy- Bass is dope. Keeps the jumpy sample usage calm. One for the flowr's. Group shit or a cat that handle the changes. Definatly some kinda ill vocal samples on the chorus otherwise you'll confuse the shit out the listener with all those changes. At least me. Loving the scratches.

Coming up- Nice one for the numbed out brain cells. True to life... Hit em at home type track. Only takes a sec to think up a line for this one. Pianos are very nice. Electric P most def... Drop out is good for a skit then right back in to rip on that same tip. Butter doctor.

I almost gotta hear some cats ripping these to believe it's enough cats on this planet that are creative enough to handle up on work like this.

Good solid work as usual SOL.
