I need to know all about 5.1 surround sound sollutions for professional studio. If you know any url about 5.1 recording, 5.1 mixing, mastering or any page about hardware or software for 5.1 puposes, I woud be very glad! Thanks!

It's our surround sound post of the week. Do a search and there are a lot of discussions going over the basics. The bottom line is it's still pretty expensive to do properly. The cheapest authoring solution right now is minnetonka audio's discWelder Steel at around $500. Then you still need a mixing/monitoring system.
