if the next time you planned to buy monitors you wanted to plan the inital stereo or 2.1 channel capital venture to be the building blocks of a sound system with surround (and maybe also motion picture) mixing capabilities, which set/make/model of which brand speakers would you want to start off with... at this point in time ?
