Okay, So I am on the verge of buying the M512 for $350.
The guy says its clean and in good shape. Everything works fine...
Sounds like a good idea. Yes? No?
I'll be recording experimental rock, folk, noodling and noises.

Its got 8 bus XLR outputs. Are these +4dBu???
Some people say the mixer is -10dBV...
Some people say the mixer is +4dBu...
I don't know who to believe- And I can't find any official specs!!

Just so you know I'll be running into a Tascam 48 or 58 or an Otari MX 70
So I'll need the +4dBu.

Thanks Thanks Thanks and many Thanks

I don't know about that, but it's certainly the wrong site to be cross-posting at......

Does anyone else know anything about the +4dBu output on the Tascam M512?
