This will happen a lot.
What happens is someone googles a question and this site will show up and possibly a few other sites in the search.
A lot of newbies come on board and become members while reading and will comment on the thread. even if it's 8 years old.
This one isn't all that bad but the real whoopers are in the free want ads here at HR with someone asking if they still have what ever caught their eye to find out the thread was started 3, 5, 8 years ago.
